For over 30 years, ORPIB has been a cornerstone of support for LGBTQ+ professionals and business owners. Originally founded as the Portland Area Business Association (PABA), we have grown into an Oregon and SW Washington regional organization, dedicated to fostering economic empowerment through education, advocacy, and community engagement.
To further our mission, we established the ORPIB Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on providing mentorship, training, and direct support for LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs—especially in rural and underserved areas. Together, ORPIB and the ORPIB Foundation create pathways for success and inclusion.
As we prepare for 2025-2026, we have ambitious plans to fortify and expand our programs, strengthen partnerships, and deepen our impact.
