Mentorship Program
ORPIB’s Mentorship Program, inspired by the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) initiative, takes inclusivity to the next level—welcoming everyone, not just members, to foster entrepreneurial growth and meaningful community connections.
Volunteer to Mentor LGBTQ+ Entrepreneurs
ORPIB is now accepting applications from our Members and Sustaining Sponsors to serve as mentors in Spring 2025.
Apply to be Matched with a Mentor
ORPIB is now accepting applications from the community to be a Mentee paired with a Mentor for the Spring 2025 Session.
ORPIB Mentorship Program Spring 2025
Modeled after the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) mentorship initiative, ORPIB’s Mentorship Program goes a step further by being open to mentees across to the entire community—not just ORPIB members.
This inclusive approach reflects our commitment to fostering entrepreneurial growth and community connection.
The ORPIB Mentorship Program matches Business Owners and Leaders with experienced mentors within our ORPIB Membership and Sustaining Sponsors.
Mentee applicants are open to all LGBTQ+ business owners and leaders in the LGBTQ+ community that embrace an entrepreneurial mindset. Mentors need to be a current member of ORPIB or an employee/leader of an ORPIB Sustaining Sponsor.
Mentors and Mentees commit to a minimum of 1 hour per month for 9 consecutive months.
Personalized Mentorship: Mentees are paired 1:1 with experienced mentors who provide personalized guidance and support based on the mentees objectives.
Regular Check-ins: Monthly mentor check-ins ensure mentees stay on track toward their business goals.
Quarterly Group Sessions to get to know your peers and other mentors for networking
Complimentary ORPIB Membership: Mentees receive a free ORPIB Membership during their program, giving them full access to member benefits and networking opportunities.
Supplemental Learning: Thrive in Business Learning Series content is included as an additional resource for program participants.
