May 28, 2024 – Bend, OR – Oregon Pride in Business (ORPIB), the state’s LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce, announces with pride its new Statewide Advisory Board, which aims to create affiliate chapters for 13 economic regions across Oregon and Southwest Washington. This summer, ORPIB will visit Pride events across the state to connect with business leaders who want to represent their local economy’s unique interests, needs and challenges.
Oregon Pride in Business is made up of an extensive network of LGBTQ+ and allied businesses who foster connections, partnerships, and collaborations for mutual growth. ORPIB also offers business support services, including a business incubator, a mentorship program, online workshops, and networking opportunities.
The Statewide Advisory Board is the next step towards strengthening LGBTQ+ business presence and impact across Oregon. By establishing affiliate chapters, Oregon Pride in Business aims to provide localized support, advocacy, and resources that will empower LGBTQ+ businesses and professionals in their respective regions.
These chapters will serve as vital hubs for connectivity, business growth, and community engagement, ensuring that every part of Oregon benefits from ORPIB’s comprehensive support network.
ORPIB invites dedicated individuals from each of Oregon’s 12 economic regions and Southwest Washington (Cook and Skamania Counties) to apply for the Statewide Advisory Board. These representatives will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Oregon’s LGBTQ+ business community by ensuring that local economies thrive through tailored support and resources.
